Stephen Luscombe formed Home & Away Events in 2007 alongside his restaurant 'Luscombes' in Lower Assendon, Henley-on-Thames, after fulfilling his ambition at the Leander Club as Executive Chef where he fuelled the British rowing team to Olympic Gold.


With 30 years experience in the industry, Steve has worked in London and Oxford with giants such as Raymond Blanc, Marco Pierre White and Herbert Berger.  As executive chef at the World famous Leander Rowing Club in Henley, Steve fuelled the British Olympic rowing team to Olympic gold in Athens.  Steve's first Michelin-recommended restaurant, Luscombes, were the natural stepping stones to becoming a successful chef, businessman and restaurateur.    Steve's road to success continues with his second restaurant opening later this year and his business as a private chef in Palma, Mallcorca.

Knowing that his clientele demand the highest quality of food and service, Steve has continued to improve, develop & grow his businesses with his team of dedicated and professional chefs.


Steve shares his life with his wife Carolina and their three beautiful children…Clara, Alva & Frankie.


Sharon has a wealth of experience in the event, catering and restaurant industry stretching back over 30 years. Steve and Sharon have been working together for 12 years, at both Luscombes Restaurant and Home & Away Events, to ensure that we offer a first class catering and seamless event management service. Sharon and the front of house team are friendly, passionate and dedicated, ensuring that all our events are bespoke and of the highest quality. Sharon loves working with all our clients on events big or small; her personable nature and natural enthusiasm shine through.
